Artemis gazed upon her newborn's laughing faces. She felt as if the god and goddess before her were watching over her now completed family.
“So my dear goddess of the moon, have you decided what we shall name our children.”
Artemis heisted. “I…you’ll laugh.” She whispered with a guilty smile.
“No I won’t.” He said with sincerely in his voice. As he lifted his son out of his wife’s arm. He smiled down at him, as the boy slept in his arms.
“I was thinking…” She looked back down at her daughter. “Well it’s my own little guilty pleasure I always wanted to name my child after the moon.” She said as she glanced up into her husband’s eyes.
“I want to name her Luna Celena Sirius” She said. Apollo handed the boy back as he picked up Luna in his arms.
“Luna Celena Sirius, what a beautiful name.” He said tears of joy filling his eyes. “And our son?” He asked still focused on Luna.
Artemis thought about it for a second. She chuckled softly “Samson Ethan Sirius”
Samson opened his tired eyes and looked up at his mother's face. Suddenly, Apollo looked up at the sky, a worried expression on his face.
Artemis knew right away that there was something wrong.
''What's wrong?'' She asked.
Apollo kept his gaze on the twilight sky. Artemis followed his gaze. A dark swirl of black clouds headed towards them, engulfing everything in their path by shadow.
''Keep the children safe.'' Apollo told his wife.
Artemis hugged her newborns close to her and turned to run. A violent wind ripped Samson from her arms. She cried out to him as he was carried by the dark clouds.
Apollo and Artemis watched helplessly as their son was engulfed by black smoke, and then it all dissolved into nothingness.
